Trumping on Facebook
I didn’t author this (it was written by a woman via a comment I found on a FB post: her name is Shelia D. Hughey), but I found it to be a compelling read! Much here to think twice over, brothers and sisters:
America is speaking loud and clear…CAN YOU HEAR US NOW???
As a Christian woman, I believe Donald J. Trump is an answer to prayer for this once great nation and he just might be a temporary reprieve from God’s judgment that we so rightly deserve and which looms so ominously on the horizon. He is clearly fighting back against the forces that be that are doing everything in their power to bring about chaos in our nation that will lead to global governance. He will fight for us, I believe that…he knows most of these devils personally and knows more than we do about them. He know the republicans and demoncrats are just two heads on the same old serpent and anyone that they put forth is just a puppet on the strings of satan himself. He knows we are one election away from not even being a sovereign nation any more. Further, I think, he, and every other thinking man, knows that we are living in the last days and Bible prophecy is being fulfilled daily. I am sure he feels the weight of that responsibility, and he wants a great nation to leave to his own children and grandchildren…and he is bold and determined enough to want a great legacy to leave to them as well…what better legacy than saving our nation’s future from itself.
Is he a republican? Is he a demoncrat? Is he conservative, is he liberal? I don’t care what label the establishment puts on him, I just know he is an angry American just like the rest of us, and rightly so. WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH!!! I heard an old Veteran refer to him as Patton-like. I’ve heard it said that if he turns this nation around, he will be in the ilk of George Washington…I have to say I agree. We truly are on the verge of losing everything our forefathers shed their blood for and if there is one chance to save it, I think Mr. Trump is that chance.
I have had many people ask me how I, as a Christian woman, could support Mr. Trump; you’ve called him evil and arrogant and a liar, an adulterer, you’ve said that he has flip flopped on abortion and other issues. Many of you say that he’s not even a Christian because he said he has never asked for forgiveness… salvation comes when we believe and receive Him as Lord…the rest comes in the sanctification process…I see Mr. Trump as a baby Christian that needs our prayer and support…the man stood on the world stage and said to the entire world, I am a proud Christian, in a world that hates Christians, after the pope said he wasn’t a Christian…that speaks volumes to me. He has a lot to learn about being a good Christian, but as president of the United States, I guarantee you, the Lord will drive him to his knees when it is time…right now, our country needs a Chief Executive Officer and a born leader, not a Pastor…we have enough of those and most are bad… to these naysayers, I say, put your stones back in your pocket, not one of us is perfect, we all have need for improvement in every area of our lives… I do believe that he is a Christian, as imperfect as he is, and I pray for him that he recognize that we are all sinners in need of a savior, we all fall short of the Glory of God and we must all get on our knees before Him in repentance and ask forgiveness and direction for our life…I pray every day that Donald Trump see and understand this and I believe that he will…
If you had asked me 20 years ago, I would have said I was a Christian…I knew nothing about being a Christian, I was a baby in the Lord, just like Mr. Trump… Well, since then, I have grown in the Lord, I am no longer a progressive liberal, I am a conservative Christian, and that came with growth and maturity and wisdom from the Holy Spirit, so you see, a person’s politics and beliefs can radically change over time, Mr. Trump’s obviously have…I believe in the Lord’s promise to us that He, Who has begun a good work in us, will complete it until the coming of the Day of Christ…I believe that for me and I believe that for Mr. Trump…I believe he is a good man and a great leader and will change our country for the better and give us a nation to hand down to our children and grandchildren. He is giving us a voice that we thought was long dead…he is not a perfect Christian, but, in an evil world where true Christians are being marginalized and persecuted and shut up more and more every day, I believe he will fight to make sure we have the right to be any kind of Christian that we choose, hot, cold, or Laodicean…that’s why I choose him.
Finally, the Word of God tells us to pray for our leaders…Mr. Trump is not our President yet, but he is our Leader, and we need to pray for him and his family, pray for their safety, because they are in grave danger. Mr. Trump is telling too much truth and they don’t like…as Mother Abigail in The Stand said, “the rats are in the corn, Lord.” Yes, the rats are in the corn…
Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus…
